FREE Webinar for Local Floodplain Management Officials

 

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will offer a FREE webinar for local floodplain management officials from 10:00am – 3:00pm on Thursday, June 3rd. The workshop will cover floodplain mapping, regulatory standards and the administrative procedures that comprise an effective floodplain management program. 

 


 

The workshop is FREE.  However, space is limited to 35 attendees and everyone must register in advance.  The deadline for registrations is June 1st.  The link to register is provided below.  Also provided are links to download the webinar PowerPoint slides and a copy of the 2014 Iowa DNR Floodplain Management Desk Reference.
